@dgarri8087 Considering even Cuba has Universal Single Payer Healthcare with better (in some cases) results that your healthcare system means you have a major corruption problem. Please educate yourself with some Google searches before making a fool of yourself.

@alicewhitelhpw7517 Actually Canadians have equal if not better healthcare than the USA and we live longer. Maybe do a quick Google search and you might be surprised to learn the USA is far from #1.

As a 66 year old Canadian, born, raised and living in Canada, I've had the opportunity to use our "single payer system" most recently (2017) for stent surgery on my heart. The service performed at Vancouver General Hospital (aka VGH) was top notch and upon my departure, the nurse handling the paperwork mentioned that a similar procedure, as well as the liver stone they found and took care of (and one week hospital stay in a private room) in the US would have set me back at least CAD$20,000. My bill when I left $0. The food was so good, I kept sending the kitchen complimentary notes. Maybe I was just lucky?

It's makes for something great to aspire to, but never (at least up to this point) really honestly fulfilled.
