najzwyklejszyzludzi "Why do these people treat politics like a team sport?" As a Canadian, I've noticed our neighbours to the south have been sold on the concept of dozens of different cereals, but only two party's/teams (usually backed by the same super rich folks and a similar outcome) are allowed in the political spectrum.

@yutian5884 "I personally think democracy only works well when the overwhelming majority of the population is well educated and have critical thinking abilities." So what you're saying what passes for democracy in the USA is screwed, since a very large percentage of their population lacks any proper education and zero critical thinking abilities.

ThisIsAydin Actually the US military has always been a social experiment and will continue to be. http://militaryoneclick.com/history-social-experiments-military/

@Tyler Smash "@THE Tomahawk If it's a fact, then where's the record showing it. Also Trumps term isn't even over yet I'm sure like every American with sense that he'll get that title." Are you being sarcastic or just extremely proud of what he's accomplished so far and are anticipating bigger and better accomplishments (aka f*ckups) comin' down the home stretch? Either way, it's twisted logic.

@MSA-uj7cp "Terrible logic/ A low income person also can tell others who to vote for" I don't remember ever meeting any "low income" people who owned their own media companies.

@hectorgarza8540 "Private contractor is a good route, heard they pay very well." Aka: mercenary or hired gun.

I remember back in Grade 12 (1973) I enrolled in a General Business course which taught us how to balance a cheque book, make a budget and some basic interest rate information. The teacher used to joke at the beginning of each semester that just by showing up you received a passing grade and that nobody had ever flunked this course. I only flunked after not showing up for half a dozen classes and instead spending my time in the Graphics class printing school related things on their Multilith offset press. Looking back decades later, in hindsight, I really should have attended that class regularly.

Ben Giust "@Tim Chisholm I meant the GOP politicians and commentators are cringeworthy. Relajate." Ooooooppppssss. My apologises, Sir. If you need me, I'll be over in the corner facing the wall. In my only defence, I'm sure you noticed the obvious satire went right over a few heads according to some of the comments. I thought you might be one of them. Ending with the gravy scented candle from KFC was priceless.

shinypinecone "Why is the president still holding tours?" The current occupant of the White House requires constant affirmation of how great he is.

1:20 Am I misunderstanding this because, the popular vote is not used to determine who is elected as the nation's president or vice president. Thus it is possible for the winner of the popular vote to end up losing the election, an outcome that has occurred on five occasions, most recently in the 2016 election when Clinton beat Trump by 2,868,686 votes. It was the fifth and most recent presidential election in which the winning candidate lost the popular vote. President Trump received a majority in the Electoral College and won upset victories in the pivotal Rust Belt region. Ultimately, Trump received 304 electoral votes and Clinton 227, as two faithless electors defected from Trump and five defected from Clinton.

'Murica is chasing its own tail...and the puppet masters are laughing.

Chi Chan I think you're missing the satire which Vice is using. The closing shot and story of the KFC gravey scented candle hits the point home for me.

Maybe Vice should highlight the fact that their using satire ergo the KFC scented candle story at the end.

Very much like Vancouver, BC.

@hectorgarza8540 "Private contractor is a good route, heard they pay very well." Basically a gun for hire aka a mercenary?
1
Not at all cringeworthy. It's a called satire.
