  1. I had a heart attack in 2016 and can attest to front-of-the-line treatment. I am one very happy Canadian after a one week hospital stay, having a stent installed and a liver stone blasted away. Total bill upon leaving Vancouver General Hospital: $0.00 out of pocket. The food was also very good. Kudos to the excellent doctors, nurses and support staff.

  3.  @popey4  Just curious, that if you drove 5 hours to a specialist. Was there no specialist in Toronto which you said you lived an hour outside of?
