The term "Hessians" refers to the approximately 30,000 German troops hired by the British to help fight during the American Revolution. They were principally drawn from the German state of Hesse-Cassel, although soldiers from other German states also saw action in America. They're still mercenaries working for the highest bidder...a truly noble profession. LOL!

So you challenge everyone and when someone bites and does a google search out of curiosity, then supplies a link to anyone else interested and "I'm" now "virtue signaling"? noun: virtue signalling the action or practice of publicly expressing opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or the moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue. Also in your case: Psychological projection, a defense mechanism in which the ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities by denying their existence in themselves by attributing them to others. After living thru four years of this behaviour from my southern neighbour is it not time for a change?
