  1. BC Hydro is a British Columbia Crown Corporation. We, the residents of BC own it. It is not a privately owned company. It was the BC Liberals, not to be confused in any way with the ruling federal Liberal's, who ignored their own government report and started construction. When they lost the election, the new NDP government had no choice but to forge ahead, even breaking their election promise of shutting it down. This is how it was presented to us.
