Speaking as a Canadian, born, raised and still living right next door to this incredibly manic neighbour, it's obvious, I have to absolutely agree with your statement. The last four years have been like watching a bad reality show and it's dubious cast of characters. Scaramouche, Roger Stone, Betsy DeVos, Rudy Giuliani, Michael Cohen. It's as if they came right out of Central Casting, making for entertaining television. Being the self-serving narcissist he's proven to be, I'm positive Trump auditions high ranking positions based on how they will affect his ratings. More eyeballs on more screens makes for higher ad revenue making media networks richer. A large percentage of Americans "live" to be entertained, even believing their their own hype. Add to that, a lack of proper education, where ignorance is bliss, resulting in a lack of any sort of critical thought and any sort of curiosity about the world around them. This leads to difficulty separating fact from fiction. They love their entertainment, but hate the "liberal elites" who make it possible. America is eating itself alive and the rest of the world has no choice but to watch this $hit-show unfold as syndicated variations of it play out in real time in other countries around the globe.
