  1. Over 40 years after HIV/AIDS officially being recognized as a virus, there's still no vaccine for it. So having a COVID 19 vaccine ready within a year is definitely a first. I'd be a little hesitant to get it immediately. EDIT UPDATE: I got my two (mixed) shots, first on April 20th and second one in June. No side effects...yet. (imho)
