@KyleLencucha As a life-long BC'er who spent nine months in Red Deer, Alberta in 1987, and nevber having been to Texas, but follow a lot of news, I felt I was in Texas north. LOL!

Is this the NDP (New Democratic Party) formerly known at the CCF . The Co-operative Commonwealth Federation was a social-democratic and democratic socialist political party in Canada. The CCF was founded in 1932 in Calgary, Alberta, by a number of socialist, agrarian, co-operative, and labour groups, and the League for Social Reconstruction. Thomas Clement Douglas PC CC SOM was a Scottish Canadian politician who served as Premier of Saskatchewan from 1944 to 1961 and Leader of the New Democratic Party from 1961 to 1971. A Baptist minister, he was elected to the House of Commons of Canada in 1935 as a member of the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation. He's sometimes referred to as the Father of Canadian Universal healthcare as well as being the grandfather to Kiefer Sutherland.
