@Meeneigh To be fair, one country imposing slavery does not givecanyone else the right to do so. I would argue that the Christianized West, including ironically the Roman Catholic Church at that time, was the only part of the world that cared enough to want slavery done away with or otherwise hampered. The British abolishing the slave trade is a good example of this.

Not that long ago, antebellum slavery was a major part of the Deep South, yet nobody would call abolitionism a "Northern colonization of Dixie." I do not need to mention the human sacrifices done by the Aztecs, do I?

Given the subject of this video, what other intent could that mean? Hiding behind Freedom of Speech when called out is rather cowardly, especially since I am not even advocating for your censorship. If anything, leaving your comments be actually helps me more than it does you. Second (again), what specifically were the Japanese Christians doing to deserve getting tortured and killed? Guilt by Association is not good enough.

@leaveme3559 If you were dealing with a society's ills that are deeply ingrained in its mindset, which would be more effective: A quick abolition, or undermining the ideas that keep said ills together? In this case, God chose the latter approach. A good example is found in the Book of Philemon.
