@Lach1234 That press conference was not the place to be combative with Vance about our skills at diplomacy. Let's not kid ourselves: Z wanted the fighting to continue, and he knew exactly what to say to derail all efforts toward peace. If he had kept his mouth shut until he could talk to Vance in private, it would have helped paint the picture of potential success. But nope! Zelensky had to insult the US live and turn it into a spat to satiate his ego.

@nocturnal03 Yes, he did. His body language did so, his derailment of peace talks did so, the only reason you don't see it is because your want our blood spilt on the battlefield. The deal was the security guarantee, with US workers there to make it so Putin would have to think twice before attacking. Who knows? Maybe it would not have worked, but now we never will know. And, really? A tantrum? All Vance did was point out that we were trying to help him, and don't act like Vance could not have seen the passive aggressive body language at play from Zelensky.
