@Soronokei Whataboutism, first off. Second, the difference is that no Christian doctrines require war against people of a different worldview in perpetuity. That just might explain why religiously-charged wars between Christians largely died out after the 30 Years War, you think?

No, we don't. We have our own problems here in the US to worry about without a senseless European conflict being one of those. The fact you Europeans demand we sacrifice more of our troops' lives for yet another foreign land's people after we've had enough of that is beyond hubristic.

@flipw3605 Bruh. Anti-war sentiment has been growing for decades, and you don't think we have reached the breaking point? You are delusional!

Uh, hello? Trump is not exactly being friendly to Putin atm. In what world is Trump economically strong-arming Russia further something a "Russian bot" would approve of?
2
@jamesrawson6659 In what proportion? We were the ones doing most of the heavy lifting. Not to mention, your average American citizen did not ask to be the world police. That was shoved at us by the government and Cold War circumstances. To demand a "thank you" for something that was not even our choice is laughable!

Giving up what? He wasn't even President when the war started. We should never have been involved in the first place.
1
I don't know. If Russia were winning, why did he request North Korean and Chinese troops? It depends on who you ask. personally, I think Putin should just come to the negotiating table for peace, already. Unless he and Zelensky want to start World War Three over Crimea and a false charge of Ukrainian "nazism" (sound familiar?), both sides should just cut their losses and agree to a ceasefire and treaty.

That would be great, but... Where would they align politically, and what would they gain by joining us?
1
This is beyond ridiculous! All this trouble over two egotistical presidents butting heads? Ukraine's cities are a mess, Russia is watching their allies fall like dominoes and/or backstabbing them, Siberia's cries for independence are getting louder, India's playing both sides between Russia and the US like how Turkey plays the rogue ally, the whole situation on the is a mess!

I guess we'll just have to see how much longer Russia can last like this. It all comes down to which country goes down economically first, at this point.

@thelegendaryck Not self sufficient enough, if they are that devastated.
1
@thelegendaryck Keep in mind, Trump's goal is not to win but to bring Putin to the negotiating table. Self sufficient economies do not matter if the leaders on top squander them. A lot of this would seem to hinge on whether Siberia at large becomes independent, in which case Putin won't have a choice.

Russia, Russia, Russia... And then, you wonder why the Democrats lost?
1
What do you even bring to the table? 😂
1
You could already have had a strong military presence if not for "muh free healthcare."
1
@Tanystrosuchus_posthumus Your terms are acceptable. Just, don't come trying to strongarm us later on, or you might get a taste of 1812 only worse for you.
1
Who cares about the iPhone hipsters?
1
Hmm... I don't know... India has some beef with China as of late...
1
@Tanystrosuchus_posthumus Is that a threat?
1
@savinya5367 We gave a ton of equipment to Ukraine, plus other aid. What more do you want from us?
1
@jamesrawson6659 How am I wrong?
1
Pro-Russia, huh? In bed with Putin, y'all said... >:-(
1
How about, no?
