Canada is a country with the 4th biggest natural resources on earth 3. Australia is a country with the 8th biggest natural resources on earth 4. South Africa is a country with the biggest diamond mining on earth 5. Middle east a region with the biggest oil resources on earth. 6. etc So, no surprise the USA utilizes those now. What people can do if most of their goods rely on natural resources and no other options. Welcome to capitalism.
