@TacticalMayo USA has done this to Japanese goods when it cannot compete with Japanese goods. The funny thing is South Korea products are also cheaper than the USA, but why hasn't USA given high tariff to South Korea? For China is easy, just retaliate. I dont think the USA can find better market than China.

@kylorokx1552 yeah for imports could be but those countries have little populations except For India. Meaning they have small rooms to absorbs USA exports. Those countries can't be as efficient as China as those don't have natural resources like China back yard's natural resources.

@TacticalMayo the USA if Biden's way did not fail, the USA economy should not falter. The reality is the US economy is faltering. The USA has not found better market than China. That's why its economy is faltering.

@Paul-H-Wolfram6608 but Japan is not China. Japan doesn't have veto right and its population is too small. I think China just needs to retaliate. So far the USA biggest markets are Canada, Mexico etc. The question is how much those countries can except the expensive USA goods considering small population of those countries.
