  1. I have never been surprised by this. Every time the US democratic wins, according to Bloomberg, ExxonMobil etc will hit a new world record on its net profit as the world oil price will increase. This is due to the petrodollar and high-interest rates of central banks. Thus people with loans, mortgages etc will work on 2nd job or more to stay afloat. In NZ after Covid19 lockdown, its central bank has increased its interest rates by almost 3.5x compared to the prior lockdown.
