Thus Indonesia debts were USD 105 billion x Rp 2,000 = Rp 210 trillion. When Soros came in 1998, 1 USD = Rp 16.800. Indonesia debts thanks to the IMF have risen from USD 105 billion into USD 135 billion. Thus total Indonesia debts were USD 125 billion x Rp 16,800 = Rp 2,100 trillion in one night. Due to the US manipulation, Indonesia debts have risen. Rp 210 trillion -------------------> Rp 2100 trillion This is Rp 2100 trillion / Rp 210 trillion = 10x So basically Indonesia has been made poorer 10x than in 1997. Y is the exchange rate. If Y is 1 USD = Rp 2. Thus, to get USD 100K, each Indonesian only needs USD 100K x Rp 2 = Rp 200K. Most of the external debts of Vietnam come from cheaper and less manipulated currencies like Japan and France while the income is in USD. These external debts counted for 40% of Vietnam's total debts. Not sure what currencies South Korea used when Vietnam borrowed money - maybe won? Of Indonesia's debts, 50% are in USD. USD is the most manipulated currency thanks to the petrodollar agreement.

Was Freeport McMoran guilty to pour its toxic Tailing waste to the only drinking water source for Papua people? Why has this barter between the Indonesia public policies made by Suharto for the Freeport McMoran shares not being claimed as a corruption by the UN or Transparency International? Meaning when the lease is expired the land belongs to the country and get all the asset attach on it. While Freehold, everything attaches to the land belong the new owner. well no one can bring lands overseas. Many countries do too for example Australia.
