  1. 2nd question is what was the reason Freeport McMoran gave 9% of its Indonesia subsidiary shares to Soeharto and 1% to Indonesia government in 1969 before Freeport took back those 9% and gave those to Indonesia government in 1998? Considering that Soeharto was 1. The head of Indonesia Army 2. the head of Golkar, the biggest party in Indonesia parliament, DPR, at that time and DPR made laws. 3. The head of country where all ministers until the head of villages are his employees that have obligations to run all laws and the president executive orders without doubts. Freeport Indonesia earned billions USD, please let me know the effect of these 9% gifts to the above 3 points. Was Freeport McMoran guilty to pour its toxic Tailing waste to the only drinking water source for Papua people? Why has this barter between the Indonesia public policies made by Suharto for the Freeport McMoran shares not being claimed as a corruption by the UN or Transparency International? Pfizer has given shares to Trump and Nancy Pelosi, and Trump has appointed Pfizer as the only Covid Vaccine manufacture in the USA to produce vaccines for 1.3 billion people in European and the USA. Why was Suharto alleged for corruption in Freeport Indonesia but not for Trump for Pfizer?

  12.  @jia459  You need to distinguish between freehold, leasehold, unit title and cross lease. These 190 years lands are leasehold lands not freehold lands. Meaning when the lease is expired the land belongs to the country and get all the asset attach on it. While Freehold, everything attaches to the land belong the new owner. well no one can bring lands overseas. Many countries do too for example Australia. The period to lease is depending on the agreement between the lessor and the lessee. Aboriginal lands maximum can be leased for 40 years. In the UK the leasehold period is between 99-125 years. The longest lease that has been recorded in the world is from Ireland, 10 million years. This is is a lease concerning a plot for a sewage tank adjoining Columb Barracks, Mullingar, Co. How much do you have to give up for their profit? Lost is good. It makes everything is affordable.
