  8. Ben, the global south can do similar things to what Europe has done to Russia's assets. There is no rule not to seize other countries' assets. Hence no need for the global south to borrow money to the IMF when the USD is manipulated using the petrodollar.

  11. I have noticed this since long time. you can see that everytime the USA is in recession; the money goes directly to the rich people through financial market. I agree with Ben. Tesla only produced 1.7 million cars worldwide in 2023 compared to 11 million Toyota cars, but the Tesla value is way higher than Toyota.

Muhammad Yunus graduated from Vanderbit University. This is just like Juan Guiado and Maria Machado from Venezuela. Juan was a Washington University graduate. Maria is from Yale University. I am not sure if Bangladesh has laws that demonstrators have to register before protest, just like in the USA. Thus time and place restrictions apply. Criminal prosecution applies if those people cannot follow the rule.

  17.  @chaoskid1211  yes the USA can be stopped. look at the US economy now, only grew 2.8% (1/4 of India economy growth and 1/2 of China economy) with inflation 3% (30x of China inflation rate or 1/2 of India inflation rate). The USA is entering recession now. Among USA war history, only this term, oil price did not hit USD 100/barrel. Japan is selling more and more US bonds while less and less countries have bought US bonds.

  24. This is my opinion. off course the US big tech can monopoly the world. Firs of all, they did not pay tax to other countries until recently. Facebook paid $0 in many countries as it paid the top accounting firm to cook the book. 2nd one is the USA tax system itself. You sell overseas, your sales are not taxable for VAT. So basically you only claim loss on your expenses. So it seems the company is having loss all the time. If you add this loss and every sent on export sales, those companies have massive income.

According to Peterson institute study done on Dec 2023, it found that 1. Asia held USD 5 Trillion of the US reserve with China held USD 3.2 Trillion. Among USD 3.2 Trillion, USD 700 billion was in the US bonds. Japan came 2nd with USD 1.2 Trillion and all of them were in the US bonds form. 2. Europe only held USD 1 Trillion 3. Middle East held USD 800 billion 4. Latin America held USD 600 billion 5. Africa held USD 85 billion. What Peterson worried was if Asia changed their mind and swap 25% of their USD reserve to something else like Yuan, Euro etc. Hence dropping the USD is the faster way to remove the USA.

For them, as long as the war doesn't go to other countries, should be controllable. What they worry was if the USA gives tariffs to China and its supporters, the global south will give high tariffs to the USA and European, especially the natural resources. For global south, the lesser they sell their natural resources, the more expensive those resources are.

If the USA gives high tariffs to China or Russia, then the whole global south also tit and tat with the USA and European, including to decline using the USD and Euro? European + USA market is only 2.3 billion people compared to the global south. And I dont think global south want them to be bullied by the USA till the end of the world.

If CCP Vietnam and China have guts to hang their corrupt people. then in the USA, Trump who was found guilty of his corruption case, now he has become a US president candidate. The former Bangladesh president has not found guilty of corruption. 2nd, CNBC said that only some races have more rights in Bangladesh to get more jobs. In the USA, white people got more jobs than any other races. In G7, only the USA has the most inequality in term of income. The same as Bangladesh.

  50.  @robyenney951  Can you imagine how poor a country is after the USD is being manipulated since 1960? For example, Indonesia - not my country. In 1969, 1 USD = Rp 7.5. Today, 1 USD = Rp 16,000. Indonesia GDP currently is USD 5,247/year per person. This mean in local currency, it is USD 5,247x Rp 16,000 = Rp 84 million/year/head. Now, if the USD is not being manipulated and 1 USD = Rp 7.5, Rp 84 million should be Rp 84 million/Rp 7.5 = USD 1.03 million/year Can you see now? Rp 84 million GDP only worths USD 5,247 rather than USD 1.03 million.
