  2. For someone to ask such a question as Dom asked about ceding territory suggests that they still don't understand whats going on here. Throughput the years starting especially with Stalin, Ukraine has been subjugated and its culture and language overtaken, its wealth and riches stolen and the people considered less than Russians. Russia colonised Ukraine and took everything good and madenit theirs. It's not about NATO or their own security It's about rebuilding the Russian empire and eradicating anything Ukrainian. Just hear what is hapoening in the occupied territories. It is not hyoerbole to call it genocide. See how they destroy whole villages and towns and beautiful historical architecture. I think Frances is wrong about Putin's intentions and his being like another authoritarian.
