  1. I found Zelenskyy's comments throughout the speech and Q&A informative, honest and straightforward. There are so many aspects that had not occurred to me such as the cost, through loss of tax revenue, of mobilising large numbers. Is this sacrifice justified? If the west fully supports Ukraine then perhaps the sacrifice is worth it but it's a different type of war if Ukraine has to go it alone. I trust Zelenskyy and believe his passionate defence of his country and his concern for its future is genuine. He is very knowledgeable and close to what is happening on the ground. He is doing a great job in a difficult position. I am always wary of generals who seem to undermine their leaders but apparently Zaluzhny is popular. It's not the first time in history we have seen this but generals usually make terrible politicians for the ibvious reasons.

  2. Yes the BBC reporter's question was the worst of all because it was delivered with such aggressiveness that it seemed the reporter had an emotional stake in the outcome father than professional disinterest. The BBC continues to lose credibility as a news outlet, at least on thi topic.
