  1. Roland Oliphant makes very naive comments about Russia. He also said Ukraine "squandered " their time which I think is very obtuse because Ukraine was under continual air campaigns and were fighting ill equipped because the so called alliance of democracies were actually squandering time and Ukrainian lives by dithering. We don’t know what was hit in the drone factory yet so no need to mention it. Satellite images may or may not be up to date and only give a partial picture or indication. Thumbs neutral for his report.

  2. Russian air defence is weak and cannot protect all of its regions. Sometimes flying cylinders drop from planes on its own territory of Belgorod. Even Moscow isn't safe. Although the tsars palace is no doubt heavily protected. Russia felt safe in taking out Ukrainian cities and infrastructure believing its size would make it immune to counter strikes. Now we see nowhere is safe for Russian military; not the Black Sea, where their ships have retreated, not the sky above the front-line where they have lost so many fighter jets and the pilots are too afraid to get in range and so unload on their own territory and now not in the far reaches of Russian territory. This could all be over this year if the West could grow a spine and deliver with purpose. They should stop haggling and penny pinching and realise that their economies would be worse if they were to do nothing.
