Zelenskyy shouldn't have to keep asking and fighting tooth and nail for every piece of equipment. All necessary means shoukd have been offered from the start with a commitment to continued supply. He is expected in the middle of a war to continually play the diplomat instead of concentrating on the matters ar hand. Perhaps he feels let down by the US and Europe after their non response to his country being invaded in 2014 and the vague agreement at Minsk which left an open door... an invitation to russia to invade. Perhaps he feels that the US and Europe had seen Russia as a major threat and his citizens are figting and dying not only for their freedom but also providing a service to the US while their blood is not being shed. This all reeks of arrogance and entitlement.

Well there's been a lot of criticism of NATO by world leaders who have had much less cause than Zelenskyy. Macron called it brain dead and trump was always threatening to leave the alliance. Turns out that those criticisms were in some ways justified. For years NATO members had been shirking their responsibilities regarding military spending and apparently riding on the coat tails of the US. No wonder US held so much sway. Luckily for NATO members Ukraine's defence has made them realise their situation and is giving them time to hastily rectify their mistakes. So yes NATO members do owe Ukraine and they owe that country big time so stop prevaricating and face your responsibilities NATO. Well done President Zelenskyy.
