  1. Yes putin descibes one attempted assassination as "a monstrous crime " but says nothing about another that was recently thwarted. He is a man of great honour and care deeply for the rule of law.

I know Germany has done quite a bit for Ukraine and I have heard the rationale for not sending certain equipment and the disquiet at the thought of provoking Russia but somehow these excuses don't hold water. They are very good sentiments in times of peace but come across very differently in the current times. Correct me if Im wrong but didn't Scholtz recently veto using Russian frozen assets. Once again he hid behind dubious legal and economical excuses. His stream of excuses are making him look weak. He is very disappointing and a stronger leader may be better both for Germany and the alliance.
