  1. Many slept sat down against a tight rope strung across and would sleep leaning against this. I wonder if although it would be not as comfortable as lying down if that was better as you'd have to do that in your clothes and only in your own filth rather than someone elses and not as many bugs. Must have been awful. I thought I had it bad when I got Pneumonia a few weeks back from damp and mouldy flat and not looking after myself properly due to depression,i'm not entirely sure how I got it but living how I was didn't help. When I watch how these wretched unfortunates lived but had no choice it makes me feel guilty. I've had my hot water and heating put back on for the winter as It'll only get worse,do not want pneumonia again I was in hospital for a week. Just have to try and live better I have it better than these poor people back then..

Even today modern history has been found to be wrong after studies,like custers last stand when really his men were simply mowed over.It strikes me strange that both Caligula and Nero both thought they were gods and both insane.They probably were just spoilt brats who were cruel.Even later emperors selected by merit were murdered by the praetorian guard and weren't denounced as mad.I don't know what to believe,it's certainly good to watch and read though
