  1. Your comment was too lofty for just about everyone already in its third sentence. Dont know how many people have been killed by math and conversion failures thorughout history but its got to be quite large numbers.

  2.  @awatt  That might well be true, but same could be said for fractions of inches and such. Not to mention general typos. But I didnt really state a preference for any specific system in my post.

  3.  @matthiuskoenig3378  This is an interesting take. I am inclined to agree that complacency is the number one culprit. But my post wasnt meant to be taken as anything but a tongue in cheek flippant remark, dont think this is the place for a serious statistical and psychological evalution of unit usage. Not for me at this time, anyway.
