  1. I mean, you are right, but a <10 sec 1/4 mile has been possible with normal, factory stock 1000cc sportsbike for 35 (yes, 35) years. So its not any faster in that regard compared to others.

  2.  @henksjoerdson9729  The fastest bikes have been possible to coax under 11 seconds since the 1970s, yes indeed. It wasnt until the updated GSXR 1100 and Yamaha FZR 1000 of 1989 that somewhat regularly below 10 second runs were being achieved with factory stock bikes though in my estimation. Just another note, Your dads bike wasnt a 1974 since they werent produced then, but it might well have been a 1977-78 or so. Cheers mate.

  6. ​ @austincaley5007 Acceleration at those speeds is identical for all comparable sports bikes. Any differences are more down to the test itself, not the bike.

  7. Well, wheelie control, to be exact. And even so, it still got lots of electronic trickery to prevent wheelies. Useless with shorter first few gears on a sports bike.
