  4.  @DashCamSerbia  Its quite possible I assure you. Obviously I meant in an interval, not the entire revrange, that would indeed be strange. Normal is about a 1000-1500rpm interval or so, for example 4700-5700 rpm isnt uncommon, which means constant power between shifts. It is possible this model isnt one of those that got constant power (I am hard pressed to dig up reliable specs on a car this old), as many later models of Volvo did, but if it didnt, it surely isnt far from it. Maybe the most famous car that got constant power is the VW golf Mk7 GTI, with constant 220hp from 4500-6200rpm according to spec sheet. Cheers.

  5.  @MyRealName  I see the joke, but if anyone wonders: In a straight line is what he is referring to. But they are not that heavy (a lot lighter than an M3) so they can be made to be pretty competent budget track cars as well.
