@DaveDVideoMaker Its an M5, check out the "vent" on the front fender, dont think anyone else got those? So unless they changed the front fender, should be an M5.

It could have done even more than 260 on gps, considering the acceleration still going on. 265, even 270 might be possible on an ideal day.

@trader2473 Well, there you go. I stand corrected, even more was possible it seems. Of course I dont think we know the conditions of those different tests, one might have had a headwind, the other one a tailwind, which can make a big difference. Still, good info.

@oppoh739 Not singling you out, that is very good, but every 20kmh more top speed is like night and day in how much horsepower it takes though. 220kmh on the speedo, 150hp is easily enough in a smaller car. 250, then you need upwards of 200hp. And thats not taking into account real speed vs speedometer speed. But yes, VAG has been good with horsepower the last years. They also have a lot of speedometer error in some cars, such as Golf V and VI. Dont know about the newer ones, the one in this video seems "ok" at least. If we are talking real (GPS) speeds of 270-280 and more, that is when it really starts to use quite a lot of horsepower, a bit over 300 horsepower for most cars.
