  2.  @swansmeister  Well, it certainly was supercar numbers some 15 years ago, not sure they are these days. Dont really think it is much, if any at all lighter than those old supercars as well when put on a scale. I would say it is pretty comparable to an F430, which was my point.

This is a Dutch channel that tests acceleration performance on the autobahn.... 100-200 is the end all, be all for that. 10-11s for a M3P is an enormous difference compared to the 7.2 of this car, easily 100hp, and a very big percentage. Also, the Golf has a much higher top speed than a M3P, dont know where you got the inverse from? Generally, you seem to have gotten bad info allround, for some reason? Especially since you said "cherry picked", when this Golf is faster and quicker in everything, yes, even 0-100kmh. Hope you can find better sources next time?

  5.  @migsy1717  2.5 to 3? The testing times I have, says about 1 second? Which is not perfectly the same of course, but reasonably in the same ballpark. For this kind of quick comparison, it is similar enough I think. Where did you get the 2.5-3 seconds number, the ones I got is about 7.3 for the Golf, and 8.4 For the F430 from 100-200kph.

  6. Eeeeh? Where did you find those numbers, the ones I have seen looks like the Tesla is waay slower? Aside from the annoying exhaust, which I am sure you can choose to have normal-sounding, why isnt it good as a daily driver?
