  1. They are what is called "artist souls", as can be easily gleaned from their looks and general behaviour in videos. Which means very emotionally driven and sensitive people. Such people are and were historically always prone to jump headfirst into any cause that gave their feelings/mood a boost. Often they join cults to get a constant feel of belonging etc. Its just a personality type, as old as time itself.

  2. The ones you got into a spat with are a bit too moderate and behind the curve to the latest updates to be honest... "The ones who decides what people should think"s latest tool is to call anything that questions the dogma even in the mildest term, no matter how well reasoned, for "Dangerous" and "Violant"... Its straight from the playbook of every autoriterian state throughout history you care to mention. End goal is, of course, the same as well. The people you got into a spat with would historically be called "useful not-so-smarts". Note: Words above and in this note have been deliberately changed/misspelled to hopefully bypass the algoretm. But it should be easy enough to see what its supppsed to be for a human.
