@shantaalli2865 Not the same, at all. Its quite simple, really, if you know a thing or two about how the global energy sector works. I would advise looking into it before replying, its just good form to know what one is talking about beforehand.

@rebeccapaul4410 The global prices for global products, such as gas, is certainly heavily influenced by global politics. The Biden and every US administration is the largest (most influential) part of those global politics. So he is mostly correct. It might seem silly not realising this , but no one is born knowing and having an interest in everything, so we wont hold it against you. You seem to have been somewhat misled/too simplified in what you have learnt earlier, courtesy of the "opec" remark. Its but a small piece of the puzzle and not the most important in recent times.

@rebeccapaul4410 I cant believe my previous post got deleted. But yes, he is correct that the Biden administration as such is in large part responsible. This is global energy politics and its likewise global effects 101. Gasoline is after all an extremely global product in all aspects.
