@haven216 Yes, I know. But laws are only words on paper. They are useless unless someone is charged and convicted. Do you believe this will be the case, and that this will affect this person? I certainly dont. Because those that have the authority to do so dont share your morals. Not at all. Thats why I wrote what I did. Nothing personal to your post, mind you. The majority of people dont fully understand how much US as a society has diversed in its cultural and moral standards the last 30-40 years.

@yt_nh9347 The virtue of disavowing what your leaders say you should. Showing loyalty and fealty. By public disapproval of a person ones leaders have told you is "bad". Its conceptually exactly the same as with Christians and the devil, or Judas. Not really that hard to grasp, is it? Do you even know what concepts are or did you just learn about them?

Is it though? Maybe she is more self aware than you. You think there could be a downside to this, whilst there is a very real possibility there could be only upsides for her, saying what she did. Different people have very different moral standards and you presumably dont interact with her in any meaningful way. Nor does anyonee else that find what she said offensive. This overconfidence and blindspot in that "our" moral standards still hold true in all cases across the country is what got us here.

Your "whats real and whats not" detector needs to be recalibrated... you got your "never", "most", "small percentage" wrong. Not saying its a good thing, but it is what it is, and it is real.

@idofx8722 I would say its not only possible, its all but a certainty the output suffers. That doesnt mean it affects her though. In fact, I find it unlikely. Same with your second concern. The ones "higher up" have so far signed off on this, and I find it likely she is a diversity hire herself. Its doubtful this will change.

What I can say is that I, as a libertarian (a real one, not fake) is one arguing for it because of free speech/expression/whatever. But true libertarians seems very rare, so yeah. The "social skills and likeability" stat has always been extremely OP. Devs should have nerfed it if they cared about balance.

@refugeehugsforfree4151 They are the definition of underpriced, actually. i.e sold below cost to manufacture for the longest time, and even today with the price cut sold at margins most outher auto manufacturers cant afford. The words you are looking for are "Too expensive for my wallet/taste" which might be true, but its not "overpriced". Its a common "mistake" for people to willfully mix these things up these days.

@Blisterdude123 Well, yes and no. A big chunk comes from people that think they will get something in return. In this specific case, Trump is the best "low tax" candidate you are going to get, for example. So it might make sense to sponsor him when all checks and balances are done. In any case, the whole political system looking and working as it does, and this being accepted, is a magnitude more embarrassing for the avarage vote anyway on an intellectual level.

@ClockworkBees The point is humans are genetically pre-programmed to find competing and combat interesting. Sports fills that niche for men, and soap operas/dramas for women (Because thats how women fight and compete).

@supremecaffeine2633 One can argue that to be true, but then question the rears its head: In a modern usage of the terms, what exactly is a "progessive" and "conservative"? What makes them so? And do they hold any values that are constant over time, a core of ideology? I think you will find those questions very difficult to answer, making that viewpoint of "left and right" all but a useless distinction. Thats why the economical/state power scale the poster above suggested makes more sense to many people that have thought about the terms for a long time.

@Jarekx2007 I am sorry to have to tell you this but the DBZ dub (havent watched Yu Yu) is actually inferior to the original, and by a considerable margin. Now, I have heard other people say the same, and I can only assume its either the nostalgia speaking, or the fact that you innately get more of a connection when its spoken in a language you fully understand, thus making you feel its "better" as long as it isnt atrocious. But objectively (if you watched both as a bilingual adult), it would be easy to see that the dub is worse in the acting and tone.

@Jarekx2007 They are great actually, for what the set out do do and the source material. Its originally not a super hero story or something like that after all, but a gag manga very loosely based on "Journey to the west". When the story pivoted to more fighting based, they still did a great job. As I said, you can prefer it for some reasons, and I guess also for how they change the story tone, but in acting and adaptation its no doubt the original is superior.

I am not, to the best of my ability, using legal terms, but general ones. To simplify, there are at least 4 discrete steps. All of which are unlikely, bringing the total combination to "extremely unlikely". That is the point I was making.

Have you heard about the now deceased "Mr steins" island and the people the visited it? And thats truly chump change compared to whats really going on... surely you arent saying faking some gaming progress is worse?

@TheRacingJoker Its nothing new (muscle cars often had questionable drum brakes, dont get me started on the chassies dynamics) and the vaaast majority of customers dont care. There are lots of other examples throughout every decade. I will explain what I meant some more: Its a common car enthusiast fallacy to think every or even most car thats fast is driven by people that are going to go fast or even care about it. This is very far from the truth. Most are bought by affluent people wishing to show off. Most Ferraris see an average lifetime speed of lower than almost every other car on the road, courtesy of their owners being mostly in big congested cities crawling between the stoplights down to the cafe. Tesla Plaid is even worse in that regard. The car is too heavy to keep its tires alive during tracking, and the battery runs out very fast if you use the power. Most customers crawl around L.A and get up to 10 above the speed limit on an on ramp or between stop lights. Thats it. The standard brakes are more than good enough for them. Battery techinology is not at the point were tracking a Plaid is anything more than a meme, done by auto testers/youtubers to make a fun video. "No one" does it seriously in the real world.

@andregon4366 I somewhat agree, however its very possible to be religious without subscribing to dogma, nor forcing others to obey it. Just so happens some of the largest religions are the ones that take a keen interest in people doing just that. A pity, really.

There are so many other factors at play, the two "accomplishments" of moon trips vs knowing country names have almost nothing in common at all. Surely you also know this, I am sure you are at least a reasonably smart person. Which brings me back to my observation of your comment not being so much driven by comparisons, as it was by a bit of spite. I get it, its not nice to hear. But in this case, the stereotype is warranted. @billbradley4878 I took all that into account when writing my first post. As I allude to in my second post, and as you write, it needs a combination of circumstances to progress legally. All of which I consider unlikely. Taken as a whole progression, I find any verdict that will effect her personally extremely unlikely. Hence the assumption this virtue signaling might very well be an overall net benefit for her.

If I have edited my posts (which I often do, I admit), its to fix spelling mistakes since I admit I am a very sloppy typer and my fingers mostly wont do as I tell them. Jumbling letters in all manner of ways, which is an eyesore. Nothing sinister about it at all. Case in point: this very post. If there is anything you take issue with, state it again and I will clarify to the best of my ability.

Just about literally no one tracks their plaid, no auto manufacturer is going to put in a several thousand dollar part on a mass produced car to please waaaay less than 0.1% of the customers. Its a "car enthusiast mindset" fallacy to think it matters to customers. They brakes are more than adequate for the driving most of their customers do, and for those that like to have a bit more, the ceramics are an option.

@RomeEmpire123 Thats exactly what I alluded to, yes. "Power vacuum" is a term often used for what can happen. Almost every ideology thats even existed, even the ones that could reasonably be said to be started with good intentions, quite rapidly devolve into just another meal ticket for an elite; a way to control the "common man". Just human nature. Name any theology you can think of, and it likely fits into this category. Martin Luther was kind of fed up with just such a thing already 500 years ago... and that just one example.

You can live you whole life in parts of US and have the same experience as I wrote earlier, only meeting people that goes years, nay, decades between eating a fruit. @puccimane1017 Your second paragraph is about right. Its all content. Thats it. Nobody cares all that much. From the video he is reacting to, to he himself. The content must flow. Thats my point: I certainly dont see any "trolling" from anyone involved in the video you are commenting under. So yes, in a way you are the chump for reacting to his content which effectively seemingly is "ragebait" to those that react your way, isnt it?... And yes, in the same way I am also the chump whos reacting to your comment to no real use, which type was also kind of predictable to appear. But I am aware of that and assume your comment was made in earnest.

Perhaps the one in which a person stated something like "there are laws about this sort of thing"? If that is the one you are talking about, I am not saying at all what you think I am. He can say what he thinks, thats fine. But almost everyone knows about these laws already, so its mostly irrelevant to the discussion. He also, among many others doint the same, wrote it in a way like any law matters in a vacuum. They do, in fact, not. They matter only as long as they are followed and policed. Which was my point, and I have written of it in my other posts: Unless something concrete and substantial will follow, the law is effectively meaningles and might as well not exist. If it wont change reality in any way, it may as well not be there. There is no god ordained thruth that things must happen just because a law is presumably broken. So again, its fine to speak out. By all means. I do it myself all the time. But people were talking about it as "done deal" that she would have consequences of any magnitude coming her way. Not the case at all, in reality. Same as with any laws, its far from a given. Many people throughout history have gotten away with literal murder, after all. And in this case its much less severe, has a very questionable case for evidence and a need to find tangible proof of any one affected. As well as someone willing to pick up the case and put it through a court. All this points to it being less than likely. Thats all. As I have written in my other posts above as well.

@NinjaBray No, as I said you misread/misunderstood it entirely. For example, I have never, since the start said anything to the effect that would contradict the law you are quoting. So what is the relevance in posting it like I have? Try reading again, it seems you mixed up a lot of things for some reason. Not trying to be rude, but thats how it is. Read again and see for yourself. My first and second post already contain all you need to know, and should be easy enough to understand if read with a cool, relaxed mindset.

You have misread and misunderstood. It does bear a big relevance, in fact the largest one, since the original comment talked about "lack of self awareness" which means a person does something they wouldnt do if they wre more clever or thought about it more. I then replied how thats not necessarily the case at all, and gave example as to why that may be. Your post shows to me you, sadly, totally misunderstand my posts for whatever reason. I havent implied anything of the sort you seem to think. Its fine not reading everything, but then I would advise not commenting based on a misunderstanding thats easily rectified by reading the text a bit more carefully and taking a step back and truly take in the words that are in it.

@a-my9ql I am "pretty good at car engineeering"... yeah they are not very good compared to many other manufacturers, certainly their older models. This is true. They are a bit better these days, but still below average. However, why bring it up in this context? Makes no sense... unless its just an empty virtue signal. I know what I think.

@a-my9ql One can certainly suspect they dont have any statistical data of the sort, nor interest in it, no. But its more the non sequitur of bringing it up in the first place thats the tell. Its totally irrelevant in the context, so why bring it up? The likely answer is clear; to virtue signal. I have quite a bit car engineering experience, but thats not really necessary in this case. Just being able to access and read data of various kinds pertaining to the cars is enough. Doesnt even have to be very granular. You will find I am one of the least biased people making comments on youtube when it concerns vehicles, if I do say so myself. Not a particularly high bar though... What I do is pretty well summed up in my channel info text. Somethings are good, some things are bad with every vehicle, none is perfect, none is totally bad. And, of course, its all in what the customer expects themselves. If there is anything specific you want to know, let me know and I will answer to the best of my ability.

@RichardDemattis The UN isnt forced to do anything it doesnt want to do, nobody can force them. Consequently, nations dont have to accept their own citizens back if nobody forces them to either. Many, many examples of countries not accepting their citizens back right at this moment and nobody doing anything or even saying a peep about it. The laws and rules that are written on papers are just that, and can be ignored at will by the powers that wrote and enforce them. Thats just the way the world works, and always did.

@Philpot1992 There is a large proportion of people that, at least subconsciously, think Internet didnt exist before they got their smartphone with a data plan, so about 2011-2017. I am not kidding. Its a pretty common psychological function for people of all ages to think "X thing didnt exist before I knew about it/got access to it"

They are entitled because thats their culture. The fact they are immigrating is immaterial to them. There is not a single type of immigrant but many, so two things can be true at the same time. Also, "refugees" according to the UN definition is a ridiculously low number of all immigrants to Sweden and europe, 2-3% of all arrivals. The rest are economic migrants, most often looking for welfare handouts and often from well to do homes in their native country. It has been so since more than 50 years. They think their culure is superior and everything else is bad, as do most humans no matter where they are from. Just human nature. Some are just a bit more insistant than others...

@refugeehugsforfree4151 Nope, EVs have some of the lowest profit margins to prodoce of any cars,, because of the high development cost and the cost of the raw materials and parts that go into them. I dont have to pretend anything, I know what I am talking about, both when it comes to manufacture of cars, economics, and the linguistics part of the wording. You seem to mix the things up I just explained how it works. Just because something costs a lot of money, doesnt make it overpriced. I can sell a 1 lbs bar of gold for 10 grand. Thats a lot of money to people, and they would have no real use for that bar of gold. But it would be a serious underprice considering thousand of buyers would pay much more in an instant if they could buy it. Same with most EVs, they have much lower profit margins than say most ICE SUvs or Trucks. Thats how it works.

@Sulamanjansulttaani True enough, but I dont think any of those people are exactly fat free themselves either, just looking for something to criticise behind their keyboard. Those who are really into fitness and mentally stable know fat doesnt matter too much unless you really are getting up there.

@charlesbrown4483 Nah, thats the truth. However, note that I didnt say I thought I was. As for your second paragraph, are you sure most Americans would get to 47 or 48?... I am not convinced of that at all. All in all, it appears to me your post is predicated not on general worldwide statstics, but rather a subset of it, most likely you social circle and people somewhat adjacent, chiefly US based. But thats a very small slice of all people in the world.
