@lustrazor44 What an ironic comment, to say the least... But be careful, someone might think you are serious and not joking, because there really are some people out there thinking like what you wrote, as hard as that is to believe.

If it was, I will ask you where except the west christinanity has slowly fallen out of favor, only to be replaced by other ideologies? Certainly isnt the case for other large areas of the world, since they were never christian to begin with...

@RomeEmpire123 Thats exactly what I alluded to, yes. "Power vacuum" is a term often used for what can happen. Almost every ideology thats even existed, even the ones that could reasonably be said to be started with good intentions, quite rapidly devolve into just another meal ticket for an elite; a way to control the "common man". Just human nature. Name any theology you can think of, and it likely fits into this category. Martin Luther was kind of fed up with just such a thing already 500 years ago... and that just one example.

@Clonesoldier501 Things can coexist, yes. "Hand in hand" implies they have some relation to eachother, so I dont think that wording is strictly correct. I am not implying anything, you have read more into it than what was there, sadly.

@wolverineftw Exactly Right. But even pseudoscience is too lenient, I would call it "Dogma" in many cases.

@Clonesoldier501 Either you need to read it again and think about it more like a Venn diagram, or your proficiency with english is a bit lacking, as illustrated of your slight misuse of "hand in hand". Nothing to be ashamed of, I would say the majority of native speakers do similar mistakes. I will give an example: "This evenings general track and field competion was replaced by a pole vaulting competition." The parallell is that many track and field competitions include a pole vaulting category, but its not the only or even main focus.
