@yesimshroomie9073 They think that because it happens. You are misinformed. Read up more, is my recommendation.

@mildsoup If by everyone, you mean "some", then yeah. Otherwise, not so much. And what does "Anti trans" even mean in this context? Seems like quite a lingustic broad brush to say the least.

"DONT QUESTION MY STORY!" - She didnt expect anything but back patting, this got unexpectedly uncomfortable.

I dont normally do this and care much about spelling but: ..... "Silicon". Sorry, I am sure it was your autocorrect being overzealous in this case but this wording mistake is just a bugbear of mine. Too many people get them mixed up these days.

@gideon7305 You made two posts. I will answer your sentences featured in both. In order: Yes, they are performing it. You are misinformed if thinking otherwise, so its not a myth. Statistics and official data of it being done is readily availible. The ones profiting are the ones charging for services regarding it or adjacent to it. The hospitals performing it, to name but one, very obvious, example.

@smithynoir9980 Well, just considering your last sentence, its all a matter of perspective and definitions. What is true, is that in some areas and demographics, the number of transitions is up thousands of percent compared to 10-20 years ago. That might have made some people take notice.

Yeah..."decently" indeed.. it was quite literally the "1%" level from just that.

@erichwagner6958 How do you know he abandoned her?

Infinity is a hard concept to grasp...

@HAMMERHEAD-g3h Yeah, but be careful about drawing conclusions for it. I am sure you would agree that many things exist, and are even quite common, yet many people dont see them very often. Consider this example: Most people globally dont hear any english spoken in their day to day lifes. Yet there are hundreds of millions of people speaking it all the time.
2
@HAMMERHEAD-g3h Thats nice, but can you be a bit more concrete about what the "it" you didnt see is? Its a bit cloudy at the moment. Perhaps I might even provide you with some examples of "It", since I am a, compared to most people, dude with lots of cultural cross contact, etc. But even so, my previous post still applies. Lots of stuff happens in the world that most people never hear about or see. 10 000 people in a crowd can be a lot, but dispersed over a landmass its pretty miniscule.
2
@HAMMERHEAD-g3h I was talking about this from your post: "However, I used to travel to other states for my job. Still didn't see it" <- What are some, or one, example of the it you didnt see in real life, that you saw on social media? Thats what the discussion was about, as far as I can tell.

@MegaMonsterPlayer For a law graduate, you sure dont seem to know much about the intricacies, which are very relevant... Look into it more, literally almost everywhere has laws on the books against what you are writing. But perhaps English is your second language and you formulated yourself a bit wrong.

@chadmwilliams89 So saying "a highly melanated guy is likely to win the 100m race in the olympics" is racist? Beause thats where your logic leads you.

You can see why this dude is a millionaire in advertising, that was as good optics as it gets for a rebuttal. Calm, cool, collected, eloquent, funny etc.

Social media and smartphones brought the rabble to the barn.

They dont go hard for "equal rights", thats just lip service. And it always was.

@lepari9986 Doesnt always work.

Good for you, but there are lots of people, childless or not, that disagree about if its a good thing or not. The current narrative trumps all indeed. Thats just how humans are.

Being reasonably intelligent and unbiased can make such things possible. Most people fail in either or both of those regards.
