Boba was brain damaged from some gaseuous digestive process in the sarlacc, leading to a total personality change even if he survived. Tragic really.

Or at least, an "OK" movie...

I, for one, Love Ruby Rod. I took it for granted that Ruby Rod was a supposed to be some kind of caricature of Prince, turned up to 11... thousand. As such, I really liked the portrayal of a man so flamboyantly gay that he wraps around to straight again. It felt perfectly logical and fitting in the world the movie takes place in, because of course they would have a character like that.

Supremely spiteful tone in this video. I like it.

Agree. I kind of liked the "everything has gone to shit" feeling. I felt kind of novel at the time, cant really point to another "summer blockbuster" with that kind of bleak feeling. It was sold as: "This is the last alien movie. Ever. And this time there will be no happy ending" And as a stupid kid I really believed that. It made sense that in the Alien universe, happy endings is just a dream. Of course, that was in the days long before prequels, reboots etc.

"Male presenting"... Is it even possible to write dialogue and use phrasing that screams "Current year" more than this? Talk about giving the episode a real world date...

The Right Stuff theme plays quietly in the background...

DC animated has gotten mostly praise since batman TAS debuted 30 years ago. Surely there are tons of stories and character stuff that can be mined and adapted from that? Is it some kind of rights issue? Not to mention decades of comics in the first place.....I am sure most people wouldnt mind, even if they sort of remember something similar from 25 years ago...

I am pretty sure The asteroid was a false flag, and we are supposed to think so as well, from the clues that are in the movie. The capability of controlling an asteroid from across the galaxy are totally beyond any ability we have seen the bugs have. Or the humans, for that matter. Secondly, what is the value of crashing a single asteroid into a city, a non military target. It just doesnt make sense. Probably there was no asteroid in the first place, it was more likely some kind of bomb.
