  2. Its a nice car but it hasnt got less weight than a 3 series. No M 1 or 2 does. Thats because a few inches of bodywork weighs very little compared to the driveline and chassis component which it share with the 3 series. In some specs, the E92 was a miniscule amount lighter than a 1m, because of its carbon roof. The winner for 1M is its more lively behaviour, because of the shortened wheelbasr compared to a 3 series. More "fun" but a lot less stable. It also looks really cool, for me the 1M and M2 have always looked very nice. Not taken by the latest one so far though.
