  1. Dont know how long it was since you were a kid but these were the fastest PWC-thingy you could get factory stock until the 1990s, at almost 40mph. So back in the day if they were runinng correctly, they were considered quite fast. A modern Seadoo spark with the 60hp engine which is a pretty popular entry level PWC isnt any faster really even today.
