To be fair, its a quite old classic. And not easy to drive fast. Should be applauded for taking it to have a bit a fun instead of it collecting dust in a garage. So even if it is "the gear", which I dont think it is these days, I think you could put it in a more charitable way, no one is a pro race driver the first time anyway.

@sideshow09 Well not really just in the straight, in fact it was probably one of the fastest cars around the ring in its day, with a pro at the wheel... That being said, the difference between a sort of cautious beginner doing their first lap(s) and a seasoned ring veteran is easily 2-3 minutes of lap time....
