  1. The rules are a red herring, a convinent excuse. If not for this,they would have invented something else to get the sponsors team on the podium.

  3. Fixing results to benefit a sponsor/friend by organizers is as old as motorsport (and sports itself), unfortunately. I guess not much can be done except trying to be a good judge of which organizers are serious before entering the race. Easier said than done. Total bummer. Hope for a better start to next year.
