  1. You are correct, but there are some things you just cant do with 2wd that almost becomes easy with 4wd.. Tow starting on ice or snow going uphill for example, if the trailer is reasonably heavy. But thats hardly what most people do everyday, so for normal driving you are certainly on the money.
