  1. ​​ @philcitizen4671 I believe you might be misinformed about tax vs insurance in much of europe. Now, I dont know about all or even most european countries, but I can assure you for in for example the nordic countries, its a tax, period. In fact, there pretty much isnt anything else in the legal system. Most of the other european countries I know about are similar. Perhaps you mix up the official wording from the government in a way? Where I am at, the government is very keen to call different kind of fees other things than "tax". They are still technically taxes though, no matter what they call them, its most often just a way to make it "sound better".

  2. Most of it is from taxed money in sweden though. So you are likely paying more in a way.
