  1. No speed limits during the week normally, you probably travelled on some limited roads during those days so it was just a coincidence.

  2. I own a few vehicles that I have done closer to 300km/h on normal roads with, but never quite above 300, so far. Funny thing is how the indicated speed differs between the vehicles. The Porsche is about 8km/h at top speed, which is very good. The BMW about 15km/h which is good/normal, and the motorcycle is about 30km/h optimistic, which is a lot, but normal for older motorcycles.

  4. Ovals or tracks wont allow for such high speed, mostly. Otherwise I dont disagree entirely with what you wrote, but it is what it is.

  7. In the old days you could get pretty good speeds on autobahn almost every day, these days unfortunately the amount of traffic has increased so much you are relegated to these kind of runs at dawn if you want to go really fast. Making good average speed crossing germany is very hard nowadays.

  8. Yep, but you get used to higher speeds. 200-230 is a good "cruising speed" for me.
