  1.  @Ennui.  Lots of cars have partially or fully zinc treated bodies, and have had so since many decades ago. It is not literally rust proof when used in real word conditions, the zinc treatment is a just a small part of it and differs a lot between cars, even of the same brand. French cars in general have from my observation had some of the best body rust proofing since year 2000 or so, but even they are far from perfect in, as I said, real world conditions. Dont get me started on the atrocious rust proofing on older Mercedes cars or the flaking-down-to-the-metal of VWs.

  3. Yep, thats exactly what I have always thought as well, looks terrible. "Aftermarket bootlid", partially covering the taillights. Headlights dont look very good either, kind of derpy. Fix those issues and the rest isnt too bad.

  4. Was a great seller though, and a trend setter. So many copycats today, so it seems it was a great success. I guess it wasnt pointless in many peoples eyes.

  6. Funny as BMW had used turbos on 2 of their gas powered cars decades earlier, and ALL diesel models, of which they sold maaaany in europe, were turbocharged.

  7. You are correct but from the perspective of a lot of customers it was. Anything that isnt 100% intuitive and "Always like it has been" draws heavy criticism from many customers.

  8. Dont know for sure if my car truly has multiple individual fans, or if its just a airflow valve you can adjust, but it does have an individual software "airflow" setting for both the front AND the rear passengers, so 4 in total. Porsche Cayenne.

  9. Its not. This easily beats it, and all other models since in "controversy factor". You just hear more about other cars these days because of social media. This one is undefeated.

  10. Asian market loved it as far as I know. "Too much" is just right there, and thats what they were going for. History is written by the winners etc.
