I seriously doubt there is as much as a single car sold less in total because of what you may think is unappealing design. On the contrary, many people prefer the newer desing, and all statistics point to them outnumbering the ones who dont like it, by a considerable margin.

@mclarenfatigue What assertions? That station wagons wont sell all that much, foe example? On the contrary, the are most often correct... despite the wishful thinking of various people. As they should be, since they got oodles of data and statistics that can be analysed, whereas the average person got nothing of the sort.

@davidlloyd1526 Well number of parts in any product is not very much correlated to its price at all. A diamond is made of a piece of carbon, yet its quite pricey for its mass/weight.

@Brianfightingmad You post somewhat implies thats not the case for every "side". Which is, of course, untrue. So its kind of pointless commenting about it, its much akin to being surprised sports team A fans doesnt like when Sports team B beats their team. Well, duh.
