So you miss the time before the mid 1980s then? I have seen this comment a lot and its nothing personal but maybe read up a little next time.

@ev4n5eli0n01 I think its fair to count M tech, which was the same as modern M sport in all but name more or less and then it is even earlier actually, the M535i e28 was the first M "pack" car, as far as I am aware. It debuted in the mid 1980s. You could call the M635Csi the first M pack car, but it really just was an M6 without the M6 name.
