  1. I find it interesting to note that Doug evidently doesnt know of a "boosted start", or any kind of start that slips the clutch and uses high rpm. Not a guy whos ever been to a drag strip or even tried to do a fast start from a standstill it seems. Heres how to do it: Brake boost the car to rev limiter, more or less. Release the clutch as fast as you can. Pray that the drivetrain will survive. Now you more or less got the optimal acceleration time in an AWD car, if it survives.
