  3. It is a niche, but one has to look at it as an SUV first. If you NEED an SUV, it somewhat makes sense. You are right about the housewife bit, but this generation Cayenne is perhaps the most allround car ever built in terms of capabilities. It seats 5, was not much slower than an M5 of the era, can tow 7500lbs, is quite comfortable, and with normal wheels is quite good in terrain as well, rivalling jeeps.

  9. Climate control blanks are for options. Makes sense to put blanks/options behind a door, if you are going to have one, instead of outside it.
