  1. It's a test of whether or not you stick to your moral compass or your personal conviction. It's the same thing between both Daredevil and the Punisher. You have both Batman and Daredevil for instance that shows that they believe in the greater good because if they don't set some kind of precedent for those who fight injustice, how can they expect anyone else to? And here you have both the Red Hood and the Punisher where as they are in fact taking out people who will never learn from their vices to keep them from hurting anyone else, but you also have to accept that once one person does it, it will create a domino effect and once everyone starts killing, there will be no one left to believe in mercy leading to many more people dying be their conscience innocent or guilty. It's a amazing parallel of human nature and the sad realization is while both work to a certain degree, they both also have flaws, very much like the inherent trait of human beings themselves.
