You could be doing everything right in trying to keep the marriage going strong and still lose everything at the mention of her wanting a divorce. Prenups are definitely necessary now but of course that's already gonna give off the insinuation that you're not confident the marriage will last anyway. I still cringe at how some marry just for the financial security and benefits and still either cheat or intentionally file for divorce for half of your assets. ¯\_😞_/¯
