Because they are being attacked so much for very little, they are being used an excuse why Trump won or why Brexit won, just like they tried to do with blaming the Russians, which they could find zero evidence of, so they've gone after a company that was just involved now. I'm sure there were other similair companies maybe even CA themselves that also worked for Hilary and Remain, but they wont be investigated or even mentioned. Channel 4 just cant accept that they are on the wrong side of history, there must be some nefarious reason why the public chose something that CH4 preached against in its arrogance, there can't have been a genuine reason why these things happened that CH4 couldn't grasp. The hypocrisy of it stinks, channel 4 try to influence viewers all the time with the stories they choose and how they frame them. There are far more important stories that they are intentionally passing over for this nonsense.

  6. We live in the information age, this is what happens. I guarantee you and everyone watching this, has hundreds if not thousands of cookies on your computer right now that are all tracking your internet use and collecting information on you to use for targeted advertising or targeted campaigns and influence for all sorts of things, including political from just as many companies, not just Cambridge Analytica. It's going on all the time, on all sides, so this is hardly earth shaterring news. If it is then you'd better shut down 99% of the internet.

  7. It's not wrong to try and influence people though, its part of life, conversations influence people, are we gonna ban them too? Actually yeah we are, we've already stopped journalists from entering the country, abusing terrorism laws no less, because they dont have the current politically correct views. Thats more of a scandal than a company going about it's business like every other data company. Does Channel 4 care about the loss of freedom of speech though? No, that's perfectly acceptable to them as they havent reported on it.
