The sad thing is that Ethiopia (like a lot of other countries split by ethnicity/religion) has experienced periods of stability in the past, so like you say, people can live together if given a fair chance. It's a big kids on the outside of the circle shouting "fight fight fight" that are the issue; my fear is that we'll only see this conflict on mainstream new if it turns to a mass humanitarian disaster with famine and starvation. Sad news.
